Our Dryer Vent Cleaning Pricing Model
In the past, we have been apprehensive to detail our pricing through our website. As a business practice, this gives our competitors an opportunity to undercut our pricing. Divulging pricing may also discourage customer phone calls, which allow us the opportunity to explain our service and what sets us apart from our competitors. As our company has grown over the years, we now see the value in being transparent with our customers. To explain our pricing, below is a rough estimate along with what is involved in coming up with these numbers (they are not pulled from thin air!). When determining our pricing, we have to look at our costs:
Our Employees:
Our company currently has the best technicians in the state. Everyone within our company has serviced over 1,000 dryer vents in the past year. Our techs are extremely skilled, efficient, and knowledgeable. Aside from this, everyone who works for our company has undergone a complete background check. As a prior law enforcement officer, I believe it is important that you feel safe with who is at your home. To keep well trained and good employees, we pay higher wages.
Our Equipment and Vehicles:
Unlike some dryer vent cleaning companies, we do not use big box store brushes to clean dryer vents. Our company uses a high-end collection of air powered tools. These tools are more efficient and less likely to break your vent. These tools also have much higher costs which factor into our pricing.
Over the years, we have found that the most effective method for cleaning dryer vents is accessing them from the end. To do so, we sometimes need to get on extension ladders or roofs. The prep for these jobs, ladders and other safety measures are factored into our pricing for higher vents.
Our business is located in the Hartford region, but we service the entire state. To combat commute times, wear and tear on vehicles, and gas prices we charge a set fee for further commutes.
Our Protection:
Being a legitimate company requires state licensing and the appropriate insurance costs. We are licensed with the State of Connecticut and maintain every insurance coverage available to us. From general liability to worker’s compensation, we are fully insured so that the homeowner is not responsible for anything that happens at their home.
Based on the above information, our prices vary from $175-$250 for a residential dryer vent cleaning. If a community or several neighbors arrange to do their cleanings at the same day/time, we have group rates available. Over the years, we have increased our rates but have done our best to honor past pricing whenever possible.
We receive many phone calls where a prospective customer will call looking for the cheapest rate. We may not be the cheapest company in the state, but do our best to offer an exceptional service at an affordable price.
